Oh, I LOVE the look of lapels, but I am not that excited about wearing feminist power-suits. I took the idea and threw it into a corset! This is a really great piece because it is open through the back and ties with a halter neckline, making it adjustable and breathable! (and no, sorry, I simply cannot make this in a full-back version. I've tried patterning that at least 25 times, and I've hated the result every time!) Because of the way the collar lays, I've found this pattern in particular to be very elongating and flattering.
Boned in 9 strategic places using our signature rigid 1/4" fiberglass rods hand-dipped in rubber in the front and double thickness European spring steel in the sides and back.
For Measuring:
*WAIST:measure at the very SMALLEST point, about 2-3" ABOVE the belly button, holding the measuring tape SUPER tightly!
*BUST: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, as snugly as you would like the top of the corset to fit.
